Paul Piccone and Telos

In 1988, on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Telos, the editors published a rather splashy issue,¹ partly congratulatory and partly critical. It made sense to take stock of where and when we had begun, how far we had come, and where we stood at that critical juncture in the life of the journal and in the lives of the editors, Paul Piccone in particular.
