Dear Alberto:

1) Schmitt's concept of the Großraum may very well be obsolete, after the collapse of the USSR and the failure of the EU to organize itself politically and militarily. It may also be obsolete because, with the possible exception of Islam, there is no radical alternative political organization opposed to market capitalism (and Islam, a pre-modern system with absolutely no chance to modernize, provides no alternative whatsoever). The project of establishing the kind of South American Großraum that you propose seems very problematic, since it is impossible to break with the global economic world system—especially for underdeveloped countries...
