On the September 11 Events, and the US Military Response

To approach recent events with some detachment, it is best not to provide answers but raise questions. The first contradiction one encounters is the discrepancy between the formidable military—or, rather techno-military—coalition, and the man, his lieutenants and a few thousand soldiers that the US has designated as its adversaries. They are sheltered in a country resembling the moon, without a viable electronic or technological infrastructure, with severely limited financial resources, and supported only by the goodwill of neighboring Pakistan. Such a redoubtable armada could not have the simple goal of arresting or exterminating Bin Laden (even though it is not...
